Making food waste recycling universal

This editorial piece was part of a larger project aiming to raise awareness around food waste, and the benefits of food waste recycling. My aim for this project was to increase awareness about how damaging food waste can be to the environment when not disposed of properly. As well as the amazing advantages of food waste recycling into energy using anaerobic digestion. For example, one banana skin, when recycled, can generate enough energy to charge your mobile phone twice!
